1. The driving must be in normal condition, especially the devices such as braking mechanisms, sound and light, signals, interlocking devices, etc. must be sensitive and intact.

2. During the work process, the operator should concentrate and spin the crane before lifting. The lifted object should be lifted 100-150mms off the ground. If it is found that the lifted object is not tightly tied, it should be re tied. Before driving, the signal bell should be sounded first; Lifting objects must not pass over human heads. When the overhead crane is in operation, it is strictly prohibited to repair, inspect, refuel, or wipe the parts. If any faults are found during operation, the crane must be stopped immediately.

When the work is terminated, the overhead crane should be parked on the parking line, the hook should be lifted into place, and heavy objects should not be hung on the hook. Place all controllers and control levers in the zero position, pull off the power switch, and lock the cab door.

4. Bridge cranes must be equipped with reliable and sensitive devices. Generally, there are buffers, limiters (travel limiters, lifting limiters), lifting limiters, windproof rail clamps, etc.

5. The casing of all live parts of the crane should be reliably grounded to prevent accidental electric shock accidents for operators. When the trolley track is not welded to the main beam, welding grounding should also be adopted, and the transformer should be grounded on the low voltage side according to regulations.
