    Reason for electromagnetic suction cup magnetic failure:


    In fact, many people are not aware that the internal components of the disk need to be replaced and repaired frequently, and the excitation coil is also prone to burning out. Even if the components are not damaged, it is easy for malfunctions to occur, resulting in small magnetic suction cups having no magnetic force.


    The magnetic field lines come out of the N-level of the magnet, pass through the magnetic yoke, pass through the ferromagnetic workpiece, and then return to the S-level of the magnet through the magnetic yoke. In this way, the workpiece can be firmly attached to the working surface. When the magnetic level is in a state, the magnetic field lines do not reach the working level surface, and a closed circuit of magnetic circuit is formed inside the small magnetic suction cup. Almost no magnetic field lines come out from the working level surface, so there is no suction force on the workpiece, and unloading can be smoothly achieved.


    Solution to electromagnetic suction cup non-magnetic fault:


    1. Open the distribution box of the CNC machine tool, use a test pen to test the power at both ends of the fuse, and then use a multimeter to measure the power supply voltage at AC 500V level to 380V. Disconnect the main power switch, check if the AC contactor is mechanically stuck, remove one coil and one wire from the contactor, and use a multimeter to measure the resistance at both ends of the coil. If the needle reading is normal, it indicates that the coil is in good condition.


    2. Connect the coil and wires, remove the casing of the undervoltage relay, measure the resistance at both ends of the coil, and if the needle still indicates normal, it means that the undervoltage relay coil is not broken. Then check if the relay is mechanically stuck.


    3. Close the power switch and use a multimeter to measure the secondary voltage of the transformer at 135V in AC mode. Switch to DC mode to measure the voltage at both ends of the rectifier diode. Under normal circumstances, the DC voltage output by the bridge rectifier should be 110V, and there is no voltage output at this time.


    4. Disconnect the main power switch and use a multimeter to measure the resistance of four rectifier diodes separately. It was found that two of the diodes had problems. Weld open the wire connecting the secondary tube, remove the secondary tube, and conduct another measurement and inspection to prove that the secondary tube has been broken down. Replace two new secondary tubes, connect the wires, weld them, and check if the welding is secure.


    5. Measure the voltage at both ends of the rectifier diode using a multimeter in DC mode, and there is a voltage indication with a value of 110V. The operator presses the button of the grinding wheel motor to activate the circular electromagnetic suction cup switch, and the workpiece can be sucked in, indicating that the fault has been eliminated.
