The installation of the crane reducer requires a foundation based on the structure and size of the driving device. The installation of the reducer can be divided into two ways: the reducer and the motor are installed together on the same base plate; If the size of the reducer is large, install it directly on the basis of the driving device. Before installing the reducer, the foundation quality of the driving device should be checked, and it can only be installed after meeting the following requirements:

1. The foundation should be sturdy and reliable, and kept level without any sinking phenomenon.

2. The basic appearance, bolt position configuration, and dimensions should meet the requirements of the unit.

3. The foundation surface should be clean and free of dirt, soil, garbage, and other impurities.

Installation process

1. When installing the reducer on the foundation, a level should be used for calibration, and metal gaskets or blocks are allowed for adjustment (no more than two gaskets or three blocks should be used at the same position).

2. To avoid deformation of the casing and maintain the meshing state of the gearbox gear pair when it leaves the factory, spacer blocks (or washers) should be symmetrically arranged on both sides of the foundation bolts.

3. After the installation and calibration of the reducer on the foundation, the bolts should be tightened evenly without any looseness, and the tightness of the bolts should be consistent.

4. The coaxiality of the connecting components between the reducer shaft end and the motor drum or wheel should meet the requirements for selecting a coupling.
