Advantages of electric gantry crane
The electric gantry crane has a large span and good overall stability, and the double main beam gantry crane has strong load-bearing capacity. There are many types, but compared to single main beam gantry cranes with the same lifting capacity, the weight itself is larger and the cost is higher. According to the different structures of the main beam, it can be divided into two types: box girder and truss. Box shaped structures are generally preferred. Generally refers to an "isosceles triangular honeycomb beam" with a triangular main beam end face, honeycomb holes on both sides of the inclined belly, and chord members on the upper and lower parts. Honeycomb beams absorb the characteristics of truss beams and box beams, and have greater stiffness, smaller deflection, and higher reliability than truss beams.
When the power circuit breaker of the electric gantry crane is locked or there is a notice board, it should be removed by the relevant personnel before the main power can be closed. In general, when the lifting capacity is below 50t, the span is within 35m, and there are no special application requirements, a single main beam type should be selected. If the width of the door legs is required to be large, the operating speed is high, or heavy or long items are often lifted, it is advisable to choose a double beam gantry crane. The span of a gantry crane is an important factor affecting the quality of the crane itself. In the selection process, the span should be minimized as much as possible while satisfying the equipment's operating conditions and meeting the span series standards. There are also small electric gantry cranes, marine electric hoists, and metallurgical 5-ton electric hoists.
